Castle Employment Group are working in partnership with a growing Yorkshire-based product-led business to recruit a newly created Commercial Finance Manager / FC position. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working closely with leadership teams, influencing decisions and helping businesses improve profitability and performance. This is not a traditional finance role focused purely on reporting and controls. The business is specifically looking for someone proactive and commercially curious who can analyse performance, challenge thinking and bring ideas to the table. The role sits on the SLT and offers broad exposure across pricing, margins, supplier management, operational projects and commercial decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
- Production of management accounts
- Pricing and margin analysis
- Customer profitability analysis
- Product costing support
- Commercial and operational analysis
- Supplier pricing and performance analysis
- Payroll oversight
- Supporting leadership with commercial insight and recommendations
- Supporting operational and project-based initiatives
- Helping improve visibility across commercial performance
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Commercial finance experience within a product-led business
- Strong analytical and Excel capability
- Experience influencing commercial decisions
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
- Experience within manufacturing, distribution, wholesale, ecommerce or similar product-based sectors
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
