The Opportunity
A successful and well-established Yorkshire business is looking to appoint a Marketing Executive to support the continued growth of its brand. This is a varied, hands-on role that would suit a creative and organised marketing professional who enjoys creating engaging content, supporting events, and helping to bring a brand to life across multiple channels. Working closely with the wider team, you will play a key role in promoting products, events, visitor experiences, and the wider business brand. Key Responsibilities
- Developing and delivering monthly marketing plans and content calendars across Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
- Managing social media platforms, creating engaging content that promotes products, events, and the wider brand story
- Planning, creating and delivering email marketing campaigns, newsletters, customer communications and automated customer journeys
- Maintaining and updating website content to ensure accuracy and engagement
- Supporting the promotion and ticket sales of events, festivals and customer experiences
- Creating marketing assets using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, including advertisements, brochures, digital graphics, point-of-sale materials, event programmes and promotional literature
- Supporting product launches and seasonal campaigns, including packaging, branding assets and associated marketing collateral
- Coordinating relationships with external suppliers, printers, photographers and media contacts
- Monitoring campaign performance and providing recommendations to improve engagement and results
- Maintaining brand consistency across all marketing activity
- Producing promotional materials for festivals, events and trade activity
- Supporting wider business activities when required, reflecting the collaborative nature of a small team environment
About You
We would love to hear from candidates who have:
- Previous experience within a marketing, digital marketing or communications role
- Experience creating content and managing social media platforms for a business
- Strong copywriting skills with excellent grammar and attention to detail
- Experience producing marketing emails, newsletters and customer communications
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Experience using Canva and ideally Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign or similar
- A proactive and hands-on approach with a willingness to support wider business activities when required
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic, with the ability to work effectively within a small team
Experience with online advertising, digital photography, event marketing, or working within a customer-focused business would be advantageous but is not essential.
