Job Description

We are recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join an established manufacturing business based in Bridlington.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administration skills who enjoys working with detailed information, supporting customers and being part of a busy, hands-on team.

Working closely with the Sales and Production teams, you will play an important role in preparing quotations, processing customer orders, managing technical documentation and ensuring customers receive an efficient and professional service.

This role would particularly suit someone with a background in sales administration, technical administration or manufacturing, who is confident managing large volumes of information and working to deadlines.

Some of the Sales Administrator duties will include:

  • Preparing accurate quotations using customer drawings, specifications and enquiries.
  • Reviewing and interpreting technical drawings and documentation to ensure quotations and orders are processed correctly.
  • Liaising with customers to clarify requirements, answer queries and provide delivery updates.
  • Processing customer orders and preparing job cards for production.
  • Updating and maintaining production schedules to support the smooth running of operations.
  • Managing customer records, filing systems and associated documentation.
  • Working closely with Sales and Production teams to ensure orders are progressed efficiently.
  • Providing additional administrative support to the Accounts team during busy periods.

The ideal Sales Administrator will have:

  • Previous experience in sales administration, technical administration or a similar office-based role.
  • Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment would be particularly advantageous.
  • The ability to read and interpret technical drawings, or previous exposure to technical documentation.
  • Strong administration skills, with experience managing detailed information and large volumes of paperwork.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • A flexible, hands-on approach, with a willingness to support different departments as business needs change.

This will be working Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm, with a 30-minute lunch break, earning a salary at or around Β£29,000 depending on experience.

If you have a strong administration background and would enjoy working within a manufacturing business, we would love to hear from you.
