As a Production Operative, you'll play an important part in the manufacturing process, ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced production environment where attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork are essential.
Typical Duties
- Operating and monitoring production machinery
- Setting up equipment for production runs
- Weighing, measuring, and blending ingredients
- Carrying out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
- Packing, labelling, and preparing products for dispatch
- Completing production documentation accurately
- Following strict hygiene, health and safety, and GMP procedures
- Assisting with equipment cleaning and housekeeping standards
Working Environment
- Clean, modern manufacturing facility
- Food-grade and pharmaceutical-style production environment
- Strict hygiene and quality standards
- Working across manufacturing, encapsulation, softgel, and packing departments
- PPE provided and required at all times
Physical Requirements
- Standing for extended periods during 12-hour shifts
- Manual handling of raw materials and finished goods
- Repetitive production tasks
- Working at pace to meet production targets
- Supporting cleaning and maintenance activities
Shifts
4 On / 4 Off Days or Nights
- Days: 6:00am – 6:00pm
- Nights: 6:00pm – 6:00am
Pay
- Day Shift: From £12.75 per hour
- Night Shift: From £13.75 per hour
- Structured pay progression up to £15.00 per hour through training and development
