Are you a commercially driven technical sales professional with experience in steel construction? This is an opportunity to join a highly capable and well-established business operating at the forefront of the cold rolled steel sector, offering a salary of £40,000 to £60,000 plus bonus and a company car or allowance.
Working Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, you will take ownership of a key territory across Scotland and Ireland, developing new business while building on existing customer relationships in a market where technical understanding and credibility make the difference. This role offers autonomy, long‑term progression and the chance to work alongside an experienced leadership team focused on sustainable growth and capability.
The RoleYou will manage and grow a defined territory, selling specialist cold rolled steel solutions into the construction and structural steel markets. You will focus on both new business development and account growth, working closely with customers to understand project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

- Experience in technical sales within steel, construction or a related sector
- Understanding of steel framed buildings, purlin systems, mezzanine structures or infill systems
- Ability to interpret drawings and support estimating activities
- Strong relationship building and communication skills
- A proactive and self‑motivated approach to managing your workload
- Confidence in negotiation and handling customer discussions
Fully remote role based in Scotland. Regular travel across Scotland and Ireland. Occasional visits to the manufacturing site. Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
