On-Site Recruitment Consultant – Pro-Pak Foods, Malton

Full-time | Flexible shifts (earlies/lates/Days)

Castle Employment Group is recruiting for an On-Site Recruitment Consultant to join our team at Pro-Pak Foods in Malton, one of Yorkshire’s leading food manufacturers.

This role offers £30k OTE and is perfect for someone looking to develop their recruitment career in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

You’ll be working alongside our experienced Senior Consultant already based on site, supporting them day-to-day and learning from their expertise. Together, you’ll ensure our client and workers receive the very best service, with a flexible approach across early and late shifts.

Responsibilities

Supporting the Senior Consultant, you’ll play a hands-on role that covers the full cycle of on-site recruitment and worker engagement, including:

  • Talent support: helping to attract, register and onboard new workers, from job adverts through to first shift.
  • Inductions & compliance: assisting with right-to-work checks, running engaging inductions, and ensuring smooth starts.
  • On-site presence: being visible on the factory floor, supporting colleagues with queries, and working with the Senior Consultant to build strong worker relationships.
  • Administration & reporting: updating records, preparing payroll information, managing rotas and absence tracking.
  • Site tours & candidate experience: helping deliver engaging site tours and showcasing Pro-Pak Foods as a great place to work.
  • Client partnership: supporting the Senior Consultant in liaising with Pro-Pak managers and HR teams to meet daily headcount and recruitment needs.

We’re looking for:

  • Someone who enjoys working with people and thrives in a busy, ever-changing environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to adapt quickly.
  • Flexible approach to working earlies and lates.
  • Previous recruitment experience would be an advantage, but we’ll also welcome applications from those with transferable skills and the right attitude.
