We are recruiting directly for an industry-leading engineering manufacturer based in Kirkbymoorside, North Yorkshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and qualified Coded Pipe Welder / Fabricator to join a world-class team delivering innovative subsea technology solutions used worldwide.

This role offers variety, technical challenge, and the chance to work with exotic materials including Duplex, Super Duplex, Inconel, Aluminium, Stainless Steel, and Carbon Steel β€” ideal for welders looking to showcase and develop their skills within a precision engineering environment.

The successful Coded Pipe Welder / Fabricator will be responsible for:

  • Performing TIG, MAG, MMA and general welding to ISO BSEN 278 and ASME IX standards
  • Setting up, fabricating, and welding product components to a high standard
  • Reading and working from fabrication drawings, welding procedures, and operation sheets
  • Ensuring compliance with BS EN ISO 3834-2 welding quality system
  • Following safe working practices and maintaining excellent housekeeping
  • Working individually or as part of a team to meet deadlines and quality targets

The successful Coded Pipe Welder / Fabricator will have:

  • Evidence of current or previous welding codes and experience with coded welding tests
  • Strong TIG welding skills in Stainless Steel, Aluminium and Duplex (Flux Core)
  • Confidence in reading and working from detailed fabrication and welding prints
  • Experience with fabrication techniques including cutting, fitting, and assembly
  • Knowledge of ISO and ASME welding procedures and quality standards
  • A proactive, safety-focused approach and ability to work as part of a team
  • Ideally, additional training or certification such as Abrasive Wheels, Gantry Crane, CSWIP or PCN
