An established, multi-site business in North Yorkshire is recruiting a Finance Business Partner to support the next phase of growth and operational development. This role is well suited to a newly qualified accountant making their first move from practice, or someone early in industry, who is looking for a broad, hands-on position with real visibility across the business. The successful candidate will receive a salary between £48,000 - £55,000, based on experience.
You will sit close to the operation, working with senior stakeholders and gaining exposure across both financial control and commercial activity.
The role
Working closely with senior leadership, the Finance Manager will take ownership of core finance processes while supporting planning, performance and decision-making across the business.
Key responsibilities for the Finance Manager will include:
- Budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Month-end close with clear, practical commentary
- Financial accounting ownership including year-end processes
- Preparation of management and board-level reporting
- Business partnering with operational and commercial teams
- Performance review and identification of improvement opportunities
- Oversight of tax compliance
- Development and support of an Assistant Accountant
- Use of KPIs and data to support decision-making
