The firm is looking for an experienced tax professional to lead their tax offering, working closely with the audit and accounts teams while taking ownership of an established and loyal client base. Responsibilities of the Tax Director Job include:
- Lead the delivery of tax advisory and compliance work across a varied client portfolio
- Strengthen relationships with an existing and well established base of corporate and personal tax clients
- Work closely with audit and accounts teams to provide joined up tax advice
- Identify opportunities to grow the tax service line through networking and client referrals
- Review complex tax work prepared by the team and provide coaching, guidance and technical support
- Oversee tax planning, restructuring, compliance reviews and project based advisory work
- Represent the firm at client meetings and contribute to strategic business decisions
Requirements of the Tax Director Job include:
- Significant UK practice experience at Senior Manager, Associate Director or Director level
- CTA qualified or equivalent with strong advisory capability
- Proven experience managing a portfolio of corporate and personal tax clients
- Confident leading client relationships and delivering high quality technical advice
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to spot and convert opportunities
- Collaborative style and the ability to work effectively with wider audit and accounts teams
