Overview

Opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing site, supporting plant reliability through fault finding, PPM and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to breakdowns, diagnosing both electrical and mechanical faults
  • Fault find across PLCs, drives, motors, sensors and control systems
  • Carry out mechanical repairs across hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, bearings and gearboxes
  • Deliver planned preventative maintenance across site equipment
  • Support installation and commissioning of machinery
  • Identify root causes and implement reliability improvements
  • Work closely with production to minimise downtime
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow HSE and LOTO procedures

About You

  • Time served Electrical or Mechanical Engineer
  • Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Multi-skilled capability with strong fault finding across both disciplines
  • Able to read and interpret electrical schematics
  • 18th Edition desirable
  • Proactive, team-focused approach
