Spiro International SA and Firmac Ltd are currently in a phase where we need to strengthen our aftermarket team immediately or as agreed, and are therefore now recruiting for the following position at our factory in Scarborough, United Kingdom: Service Technician / In-House Support (m/f).

You will be part of a service team that interacts with international customers on a daily basis in an independent and flexible work environment. This role combines in‑house technical support with hands‑on service work at customer sites. You will primarily be based at our factory in Scarborough and enjoy a varied role combining practical technical work, customer support, administration, and travel for service, repairs, commissioning, and training.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Technical support and consultation in the back office
  • Troubleshooting via remote maintenance
  • Processing spare parts and service requests, including preparing quotes
  • Close collaboration with the production and logistics departments regarding our machines and spare parts
  • Administrative support for spare parts orders
  • Performing service, repairs, and overhauls on our machines both in‑house and at customer sites
  • Providing training and instruction on the handling and operation of our products

Our requirements for you:

  • Technical knowledge of machines and spare parts
  • You are committed, flexible, proactive, and accustomed to working independently and taking responsibility
  • Proficiency in MS Office. Experience with the SAGE ERP system or similar is a plus
  • Previous experience as a service technician within HVAC, ventilation, or similar technical field
  • Willingness and ability to travel for service assignments
  • Hands‑on experience in troubleshooting and customer‑facing service work
