Join a well-established, high-performing team in a hands-on leadership role. This is a key position where you’ll directly shape the guest experience, lead a confident Front of House team, and have real responsibility for smooth day-to-day operations.

Details

  • Location: Just outside of Scarborough.
  • Salary: up to £40,000 per year
  • Contract: Annualised hours - 40 hrs per week (flexible: busier in summer, quieter in winter)
  • Shift Pattern:
    • Wednesday to Friday: 3 pm – close (approx. 10 – 11 pm)
    • Saturday: 11:30 am – close
    • Sunday: 8 am – 7 pm
    • Monday & Tuesday: Days off

Key Duties

  • Lead the Front of House team during service, ensuring high standards at all times.
  • Train, develop, and mentor staff to maximise performance.
  • Handle customer queries, complaints, and ensure excellent guest experiences.
  • Manage cash, tills, and end-of-day reconciliation.
  • Open and close the venue, including supervising setup and close-down procedures.
  • Check guests in and out (accommodation onsite) and manage bookings where needed.
  • Liaise closely with kitchen and back-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.
  • Support scheduling, rostering, and basic administrative tasks as required.

  • Hands-on leadership role - actively working on the floor and leading by example.
