What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting month-end close activities and ensuring reporting deadlines are achieved
  • Preparing monthly management reports and delivering meaningful financial analysis
  • Reviewing P&L performance, cost trends and key business performance indicators
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and planning activities
  • Preparing journals, accruals and other month-end accounting adjustments
  • Partnering with operational stakeholders to provide financial insight and support decision making
  • Identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes and financial visibility
  • Supporting the wider finance team during a busy and important period

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a Finance Business Partner, Management Accountant or similar role
  • Experience working within a manufacturing or operational environment
  • Strong month-end accounting and management reporting experience
  • Ability to analyse financial information and communicate findings clearly
  • Experience preparing journals, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Available to start at short notice and quickly add value
