We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established civil engineering contractor in the Hull area who are looking to appoint a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of infrastructure and groundworks projects across the region, supporting the commercial delivery and financial control of ongoing works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing costs across multiple live projects
- Preparing and submitting valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Subcontractor procurement and management
- Contract administration (predominantly NEC-based)
- Monitoring project performance and reporting to senior management
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and project teams
Requirements:
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or a related field
- Familiarity with NEC or similar forms of contract
- Excellent commercial awareness and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or similar
- Strong IT skills including Excel
