We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established civil engineering contractor in the Hull area who are looking to appoint a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of infrastructure and groundworks projects across the region, supporting the commercial delivery and financial control of ongoing works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing costs across multiple live projects
  • Preparing and submitting valuations, variations, and final accounts
  • Subcontractor procurement and management
  • Contract administration (predominantly NEC-based)
  • Monitoring project performance and reporting to senior management
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers, and project teams

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or a related field
  • Familiarity with NEC or similar forms of contract
  • Excellent commercial awareness and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or similar
  • Strong IT skills including Excel
