Hourly Rate: £30 – £35 per hour

We are working with a respected and inclusive further education provider in the Scarborough area that is dedicated to delivering high-quality learning experiences for all students. The organisation is focused on supporting learners to achieve their full potential in a positive and forward-thinking environment.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed and knowledgeable Programme Leader in Foundation Studies to join the team on a part-time basis (26 hours per week) from September. This position is offered on a temporary contract and is ideal for someone with strong leadership capabilities and a passion for foundation learning.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the delivery and development of the foundation programme, ensuring the curriculum is engaging, inclusive, and tailored to the needs of the learners. A proactive and student-focused approach will be key in supporting success and progression.
Key responsibilities include:
• Leading the planning, delivery, and assessment of foundation learning programmes
• Supporting and mentoring teaching staff to maintain high standards of delivery
• Monitoring learner progress and implementing strategies for continuous improvement
• Maintaining excellent communication with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with quality assurance processes and curriculum frameworks
