Overview
We are seeking an experienced Production Team Leader to join a well-established food manufacturing business based in Malton. In this role, you will lead a team of production operatives, ensuring targets are met, product quality is maintained, and best practices are followed across the line.
Responsibilities
- Run the production line, motivate the team to achieve production targets
- Promote and adhere to health, safety, and quality regulations
- Complete all paperwork and systems accurately in line with company procedures
- Ensure compliance with hygienic and GMP (good manufacturing practices) audits
- Assist in training and developing staff, acting as a role model for best practice
- Monitor, control, and minimise waste
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a team leader in a food manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team
