Test Technician to join a specialist engineering business designing and manufacturing advanced subsea control systems for the global energy sector.

  • What you'll be doing
  • Test electronic assemblies and PCB products using documented procedures
  • Carry out component-level fault finding and diagnostics
  • Use oscilloscopes, digital multimeters and other electronic test equipment
  • Complete pressure testing, functional testing and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
  • Read and interpret electronic circuit diagrams
  • Complete accurate test reports and quality documentation
  • Support assembly and wiring when required
  • Contribute to continuous improvement within an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment

What we're looking for

  • A genuine interest and passion for electronic fault finding, diagnostics and testing
  • Experience testing electronic products or PCB assemblies to component level
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to read and interpret electronic schematics
  • Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters and other electronic test equipment
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills

Hydraulic experience isn't essential.

If you've got a strong electronics background and the right attitude, full specialist training will be provided.
