Test Technician to join a specialist engineering business designing and manufacturing advanced subsea control systems for the global energy sector.
This is an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology where every day brings a different technical challenge.
Whether you already have experience testing electronic assemblies or you're looking to develop your skills further, you'll join a supportive engineering team that values curiosity, problem solving and continuous learning.
- What you'll be doing
- Test electronic assemblies and PCB products using documented procedures
- Carry out component-level fault finding and diagnostics
- Use oscilloscopes, digital multimeters and other electronic test equipment
- Complete pressure testing, functional testing and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
- Read and interpret electronic circuit diagrams
- Complete accurate test reports and quality documentation
- Support assembly and wiring when required
- Contribute to continuous improvement within an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment
What we're looking for
- A genuine interest and passion for electronic fault finding, diagnostics and testing
- Experience testing electronic products or PCB assemblies to component level
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- The ability to read and interpret electronic schematics
- Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters and other electronic test equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
Hydraulic experience isn't essential.
If you've got a strong electronics background and the right attitude, full specialist training will be provided.
