We’re recruiting a Multi-Trade Operative for a small, family-run property services company with a 5-star customer rating. This is a permanent role offering long-term stability, progression, and fully local work.
The Role
- Wall and floor tiling (kitchens and bathrooms – large part of upcoming work)
- Kitchen and bathroom installs
- General property maintenance and handyman works
- Basic plumbing, joinery, patch plastering, decorating
- Repairs, snagging, small refurb works
- Occasional external and basic landscaping tasks
You’ll work both alone and as part of a team. This is a customer-facing role, so professionalism and good communication are essential.
Requirements
- Proven multi-trade experience
- Strong tiling background is essential
- Housing or property maintenance experience
- Comfortable working independently and in a team
- Own tools
- Full UK driving licence required
Hours, Pay & Travel
- £15 per hour
- 40 hours per week, with some weeks up to 48 hours
- All additional hours paid
- Paid weekly, one week in hand
- 8am start, meeting daily at the unit
- Fully local work, no travel beyond Scarborough
- Company van provided initially, with a view to getting your own van in future
