Overview
We’re looking for a hands-on Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with either bias to join a friendly, skilled team. You’ll be key to keeping the automated machinery running at its best – diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and minimising downtime.
What you’ll do
- Fault find and repair across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and CNC systems
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to keep machinery reliable
- Support improvements in performance and safety
- Work as part of a small, supportive engineering team
What we’re looking for
- Proven maintenance experience with automated machinery
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
- Knowledge of motors, drives, and control systems
- Flexible, safety-focused, and a logical problem-solver
Nice to have
- 18th Edition or equivalent qualification
- Experience with PLCs, CNC, and workshop skills (milling, welding, turning)
This is a Monday to Friday days role 7am – 3.30pm and salary depending on experience but ranging between £28,000 – £32,000.
