MIG Welders
Permanent | Day or Back Shift | £15.97–£18.32ph
I\’m hiring experienced MIG Welders and Fabricators to join the modular fabrication team at a busy manufacturing facility near Sherburn on the A64. This is a full-time, permanent position with long-term job security, fixed shifts, and genuine opportunity to earn with regular overtime.
The site will relocate to a brand-new facility in 2026, so this role would suit candidates based within reach of Scarborough, York, Selby, Malton, Tadcaster, Stamford Bridge, Norton, Pickering and surrounding areas
Shifts & Pay: Day Shift:
Monday to Friday – 07:00 to 15:00
£15.97/hour
Back Shift:
Monday to Wednesday – 16:30 to 02:30
Thursday – 16:30 to 02:00
£18.32/hour
Overtime:
Time and a half Monday–Saturday | Double time Sundays
(Overtime paid after 37.5 hours)
What you\’ll be doing:
- MIG welding steel-framed modular units from engineering drawings
- Setting out and assembling frames and panels using jigs
- Working from drawings
- Dressing, grinding, and preparing fabrications for paint
- Working to internal quality and traceability standards
What we’re looking for:
- Previous MIG welding experience (modular, structural, or fabrication)
- Confident working from drawings with good attention to detail
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent hands-on experience
- Team players with a positive attitude and good reliability
