Are you a qualified or part-qualified accountant seeking a new challenge? An established organisation in its sector is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent, full-time basis. Responsibilities
- Supporting senior finance colleagues by preparing and reviewing financial management reports
- Analysing financial information to highlight trends and provide insights to aid strategic decisions
- Assisting in the creation and maintenance of budgets and forecasts to support effective financial planning
- Collaborating with various teams to monitor spending and suggest efficiency improvements
- Ensuring adherence to financial policies and relevant regulatory requirements
- Helping with statutory financial statement preparation and assisting with audit activities
- Identifying opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance internal controls
Qualifications
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or be part-qualified and progressing towards completion
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to communicate financial data clearly to diverse audiences
- Experience with financial software systems and advanced skills in Excel
- A meticulous and proactive approach with excellent attention to detail
- A valid driver’s licence as the role requires the ability to travel independently
