Reporting to: Procurement & Logistics Manager
Location: Zetechtics Limited Offices
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Procurement & Logistics Manager in the performance of their duties.
- If required, negotiate and liaise with suppliers for the supply of goods and services.
- Raise and issue Purchase Orders as required.
- Process Goods In and Out, while ensuring correct Quality Control.
- Perform initial inspection of goods received, whether Purchased, Rented or Received from Clients.
- Advise the Procurement & Logistics Manager and/or Production Manager of Stock level shortages.
- Kit parts from stock.
- Undertake Stock Checks as required.
- Work in accordance with relevant Company Procedures.
- Follow best practice in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, quality management systems.
Experience & Skills:
- Good understanding of Logistics Software System (Access Supply Chain); (Training will be provided where necessary).
- Fork Lift driving; (Training will be provided where necessary).
- Knowledge of ESD & IPC techniques; (Training will be provided where necessary).
- Good Communications skills, verbal and written.
- Accuracy, reliability, confidentiality & adaptability.
- Adequate knowledge of: MS Windows, Internet, Word, Excel & MS Project (Training will be provided where necessary).
- Full UK Driving licence desirable but not essential.
- Capable of working unsupervised.
- General housekeeping of all Stores areas.
- Assisting Production personnel as required.
Other information:
You will be expected to work under the guidance of the Procurement & Logistics Manager to develop your skills and knowledge. The correct attitude is more important than experience.
