Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of clients’ tax affairs, including corporation tax, personal tax, and capital gains
- Preparing, reviewing, and submitting tax computations and returns
- Providing proactive advice on tax planning and compliance
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients on tax matters
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to deadlines
- Identifying opportunities to provide additional tax advisory services
Qualifications
- UK accountancy practice experience with strong tax exposure
- ACA or ACCA qualified, or AAT qualified with significant tax experience
- Proven experience managing a client portfolio
- Confident handling client queries and providing advice
- Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation
- Proactive, organised, and able to work independently and as part of a team
