Overview
Opportunity for a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well‑established manufacturing site, supporting plant reliability through fault finding, PPM and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to breakdowns, diagnosing both electrical and mechanical faults.
- Fault find across PLCs, drives, motors, sensors and control systems.
- Carry out mechanical repairs across hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, bearings and gearboxes.
- Deliver planned preventative maintenance across site equipment.
- Support installation and commissioning of machinery.
- Identify root causes and implement reliability improvements.
- Work closely with production to minimise downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow HSE and LOTO procedures.
About You
- Time served Electrical or Mechanical Engineer.
- Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Multi‑skilled capability with strong fault finding across both disciplines.
- Able to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- 18th Edition desirable.
- Proactive, team‑focused approach.
