Opportunity for a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well‑established manufacturing site, supporting plant reliability through fault finding, PPM and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to breakdowns, diagnosing both electrical and mechanical faults.
  • Fault find across PLCs, drives, motors, sensors and control systems.
  • Carry out mechanical repairs across hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, bearings and gearboxes.
  • Deliver planned preventative maintenance across site equipment.
  • Support installation and commissioning of machinery.
  • Identify root causes and implement reliability improvements.
  • Work closely with production to minimise downtime.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow HSE and LOTO procedures.

About You

  • Time served Electrical or Mechanical Engineer.
  • Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Multi‑skilled capability with strong fault finding across both disciplines.
  • Able to read and interpret electrical schematics.
  • 18th Edition desirable.
  • Proactive, team‑focused approach.
