A growing engineering and manufacturing business in Rotherham is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join the team on an initial 3-month contract. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role supporting a busy operational environment.

You will work closely with managers across the business, providing practical HR support with an immediate focus on employee relations, day-to-day advisory, and maintaining HR processes during a period of change and growth. There is potential for the role to extend for the right individual.

The Role

  • Provide day-to-day HR support to managers across both shopfloor and office-based teams
  • Take ownership of employee relations cases, ensuring matters are handled efficiently and in line with best practice
  • Support managers with absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance processes
  • Ensure a consistent and pragmatic approach to people management across the business
