The role
This isn't a long-distance driving position. You'll be based on site, moving trailers, wagons and vehicles around the yard to ensure the loading operation runs efficiently and safely.
Duties include:
- Operating a Terberg shunter vehicle
- Moving Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles around the site
- Positioning trailers and wagons at loading bays
- Ensuring the correct vehicles are available for loading and dispatch
- Supporting the transport and dispatch teams
- Maintaining high standards of safety across the yard
- Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment
