An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Technician to join a leading manufacturer of advanced systems, based in North Yorkshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic/electrical subassemblies from schematic diagrams, drawings or verbal instructions and following works order instructions to ISO9001 standards.
- Wire and solder wiring harness and cable assemblies, PC boards, SMT, transformer assemblies, control consoles, connectors.
- Perform limited troubleshooting and testing of assemblies.
- Perform limited computer controlled operations.
- Ensure assembly/sub-assembly build times are met to maintain department efficiency target of 100%.
About You
- ONC in electrical/electronic required but is not essential.
- IEEE 18th Edition accreditation preferred.
- Experience in shop operations.
- Experience with production processes and equipment.
- A good understanding of electrical/electronic systems essential.
This is a great opportunity to take on a key role in a company recognised globally for engineering excellence. Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm.
