Role: Senior Accountant

Location: Cleckheaton

Salary: £35,000 to £42,000 (depending on experience)

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and highly respected accountancy practice in Cleckheaton. They are looking for a technically strong Senior Accountant to support their varied client base and become a key part of their friendly and collaborative team.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant role include:

• Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, LLPs, partnerships, and sole traders (mainly limited companies)
• Preparing personal and corporation tax computations and returns
• Assisting Partners or Senior Managers with ad hoc project work for clients
• Liaising with clients over their accounts and queries
• Reporting directly to a Partner or Senior Manager, with access to a team of accounts staff to support assignments
• Delegating work where appropriate to provide valuable practical training opportunities

Requirements of the Senior Accountant role include:

• Fully qualified (ACA, CA, ACCA or equivalent) preferred but happy to look at Part Qualified and QBE candidates
• Strong UK general practice experience in accounts preparation is essential
