A successful and rapidly growing organisation based in the Bridlington area is currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant (Accounts Receivable) to join their finance team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant or Sales Ledger professional looking to join a stable and expanding group within a supportive, fast‑paced environment. On offer is a competitive salary of £26,000 – £28,000 (depending on experience), alongside free on‑site parking and a full‑time, office‑based role within a well‑established finance team.
As the Finance Assistant – Accounts Receivable, your role will include (but will not be limited to):
- Managing a portfolio of accounts, proactively chasing and collecting outstanding balances
- Producing weekly aged debtor reports with analysis of outstanding debts
- Completing account reconciliations and resolving queries
- Carrying out bank reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date financial records
- Supporting colleagues to ensure sales invoices are processed accurately
- Providing wider support to the Finance Team as required
To be successful in this Finance Assistant position, you should ideally have:
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to strict deadlines
- Confident communication skills with a professional and empathetic approach
- The ability to manage your own workload and take ownership of tasks
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with Sage Line 50 and/or Xero would be advantageous, but not essential
