About the Role: We are working with a well regarded, Ofsted rated “Good” primary school in York that is looking to appoint a dedicated Year 3 Teacher. This is a two form entry school with a supportive senior leadership team and a strong focus on both academic achievement and pupil wellbeing. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who brings energy, creativity, and a genuine passion for helping pupils thrive. You will play a key role in delivering engaging lessons, supporting transition into KS2, and helping pupils build confidence and independence.
What You’ll Do:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons for a Year 3 class
- Support pupils as they transition into KS2 and build strong learning foundations
- Track and assess progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
- Create a positive classroom environment with clear behaviour expectations
- Support pupils’ personal, social, and emotional development
- Work closely with colleagues and SLT to drive strong outcomes

Who You Are:
- Qualified Teacher with QTS or TRN
- Experience within KS2, ideally lower KS2
- Confident in assessment and supporting pupil progress
