We are currently recruiting on behalf of several welcoming schools across the Thirsk area who are seeking enthusiastic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants to support their classrooms. Flexible full time and part time opportunities are available with immediate starts. This is a brilliant opportunity for experienced support staff looking to further develop their classroom experience and take on a more active role in teaching and learning.
Position
- You’ll support pupils across different year groups, lead lessons when required, and work closely with teaching staff to ensure pupils remain engaged and progressing positively.
Main Duties
- Deliver lessons and provide classroom cover when needed
- Assist with lesson planning and classroom preparation
- Provide support to pupils in groups and one-to-one settings
- Help maintain positive classroom behaviour
- Support pupils’ learning, confidence, and wellbeing
- Work collaboratively with school staff and leadership teams
