About the Role
We are working with a supportive and inclusive school in York that is looking to appoint an SEN Behaviour Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference, supporting pupils with behavioural needs to engage in learning and feel confident in the classroom. You will be part of a dedicated team, helping to create a calm, structured environment where pupils can thrive both academically and socially.
Relationships and Responsibilities
- Support pupils with behavioural needs on a one-to-one or small group basis
- Implement and follow behaviour management strategies
- Assist with pupils’ social and emotional development
- Help maintain a positive and structured learning environment
- Provide feedback to teachers and contribute to pupil progress updates
