Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for flexible supply work in the Selby area? Castle Education is working with primary schools across Selby and nearby locations. We are recruiting reliable and adaptable Teaching Assistants to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 on a day to day supply basis.
Due to the location of some schools, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this role. This role is ideal for Teaching Assistants seeking flexibility, local work and a better work life balance.
The role as a Teaching Assistant includes:
- Support pupils with their learning on a one to one and small group basis
- Assist the class teacher with day to day classroom activities
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support pupils with additional needs where required
- Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies
- Provide feedback to teaching staff as needed
You can choose the days and year groups that suit your availability.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school
- Confidence supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
- Ability to adapt quickly to new school environments
- A professional, reliable and flexible approach
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
