Are you a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking for flexible supply work in the Selby area? Castle Education is working with primary schools across Selby and nearby locations. We are recruiting reliable and adaptable HLTAs to support schools with day to day cover and classroom support across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. This role is ideal for HLTAs seeking flexibility, regular local work, or a better work life balance.
The role As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support class teachers with the delivery of pre planned lessons
- Lead whole class learning when required
- Deliver targeted interventions to individuals and small groups
- Support pupils to remain engaged and on task
- Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies
- Provide brief feedback to teaching staff at the end of the day
You can choose the year groups and days that suit your availability.
Requirements:
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
- Recent experience working within a primary school setting
- Confidence supporting learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Ability to adapt quickly to new school environments
- A professional, flexible and proactive approach
