We are working with a primary school in Scarborough that puts a huge emphasis on a gentle transition from EYFS into Year 1. They are not looking for someone overly formal or rigid; they want a teacher who can balance structure with creativity and understands that some children are still very much learning through play.
Responsibilities
- Lead phonics, early writing and number work
- Build confidence, routines and a genuine love for learning
- Support from experienced teaching assistant team, so you’re not doing it all alone
