We are recruiting a Pupil Unit Teacher / SEMH Teacher to work with pupils in SEMH and Pupil Referral Unit settings. You will plan and deliver lessons across multiple subjects while supporting behaviour and emotional development.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver lessons tailored to SEMH pupils
  • Monitor and track academic progress and wellbeing
  • Implement behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies
  • Build strong relationships to encourage engagement and confidence
  • Work closely with support staff, SENCOs, and leadership
  • Promote inclusion across classrooms and school

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
  • Experience teaching SEMH / PRU pupils
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Calm, patient, and consistent approach
  • Excellent communication and teamworking skills
