We are recruiting a Pupil Unit Teacher / SEMH Teacher to work with pupils in SEMH and Pupil Referral Unit settings. You will plan and deliver lessons across multiple subjects while supporting behaviour and emotional development.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons tailored to SEMH pupils
- Monitor and track academic progress and wellbeing
- Implement behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies
- Build strong relationships to encourage engagement and confidence
- Work closely with support staff, SENCOs, and leadership
- Promote inclusion across classrooms and school
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
- Experience teaching SEMH / PRU pupils
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Calm, patient, and consistent approach
- Excellent communication and teamworking skills
