We are supporting a range of schools across the Malton and Ryedale area who are currently looking for dedicated and experienced HLTAs to join their teams. These opportunities are available on both a full time and part time basis with immediate starts available. This role is ideal for support staff who are confident within the classroom and looking to take on additional responsibilities while maintaining flexibility in their working week.

About the Role

  • You’ll play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, delivering lessons where required and helping pupils stay engaged and motivated.

Responsibilities

  • Covering lessons in the absence of teaching staff
  • Supporting lesson preparation and classroom activities
  • Working with pupils individually and in small groups
  • Supporting positive classroom behaviour
  • Encouraging pupil development both academically and socially
  • Collaborating with teaching and support staff across the school
