We are currently recruiting caring and enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistants to work across a range of nurseries and early years settings throughout Leeds. This role is ideal for an experienced Early Years practitioner who is passionate about supporting young children’s learning, development, and wellbeing within the EYFS framework.

Your responsibilities:

  • Support children aged 0–5 years within nursery and early years settings
  • Assist with planning and delivering activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Promote children’s social, emotional, and physical development
  • Support learning through play, both indoors and outdoors
  • Help observe, assess, and record children’s progress
  • Ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
  • Work closely with nursery staff, room leaders, and other practitioners
  • Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience working within a nursery or early years setting
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • A caring, patient, and proactive approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
