We are currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work across a range of primary schools in Malton and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in a supportive and structured environment, while making a meaningful difference to pupils’ learning and development. You will work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and wider school teams to support pupils in the classroom, helping to build confidence, engagement, and progress.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting pupils with their learning on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Assisting the class teacher with delivering activities
  • Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEND
  • Managing behaviour in line with school policies
  • Encouraging a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Supporting pupils’ social and emotional development
