Castle Education are working in partnership with a leading Further Education provider in East Yorkshire to recruit a Head of Student Services on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced student support, safeguarding, pastoral or inclusion leader looking to take on a high-profile operational leadership role within a large and supportive FE environment.
The role will lead and coordinate key student support functions across multiple campuses, including safeguarding, pastoral support, SEND/inclusion and learner services, ensuring students receive high-quality support that promotes wellbeing, engagement and success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading safeguarding, pastoral and inclusion operations across campus
- Managing and developing student support teams
- Supporting SEND and EHCP processes
- Driving wellbeing, attendance and intervention strategies
- Working closely with curriculum and senior leadership teams
- Ensuring high standards across reception and frontline student services
- Acting as a key operational safeguarding lead
The successful candidate will bring:
- Strong leadership experience within education, student support or safeguarding
- Knowledge of safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusion practices
- Experience managing teams and operational processes
