We are currently recruiting an experienced and committed Year 4 Teacher to work in a welcoming one-form entry primary school in Bradford from September 2026.

Your responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Year 4 lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Support pupils in developing key literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum skills
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of mixed-ability learners, including pupils with SEND
  • Work closely with Teaching Assistants and the SENCO to support pupil progress
  • Monitor and assess pupil attainment, using data to inform planning and interventions
  • Promote independence, resilience, and positive learning behaviours
  • Create a calm, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
  • Contribute positively to the wider life of a one-form entry school

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Year 4 or Lower Key Stage 2
  • Secure understanding of the Lower KS2 curriculum
  • Strong classroom management and organisation skills
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and adaptability

This role is also open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with appropriate support in place.
