Castle Craig Hospital is looking for experienced and compassionate individuals to join our team of Bank Healthcare Assistants, helping people with addictions to get better and on the road to recovery.

Our bank healthcare assistants are members of the nursing team and support the registered nurses in delivering individualised and high-quality care.

You will undertake a range of duties including physical and emotional support to patients and families under the supervision of a registered nurse and in addition, assist in the smooth running of the clinical area by carrying out other duties including assisting with the admission of patients, ensuring the cleanliness and good order of the Medical Centre and clinical areas.

Delivering compassionate care and achieving the best outcomes for people suffering from addictions to alcohol and drugs and mental health conditions, is at the heart of everything we do. Our work environment is unique. An 18th-century estate in the hills of the Scottish Borders, and within commuting distance from Edinburgh and Glasgow.

You will be working at a hospital that was recently rated 'Exceptional' by Health Improvement Scotland and has been described in the Scottish Parliament and on BBC News as "world-renowned". We are committed to exemplary standards of clinical governance and quality improvement and Castle Craig is highly regarded by medical referrers across the UK and internationally.

We are located near West Linton, in the Scottish Borders around 35 minutes from Edinburgh, 15 minutes from Peebles. Driving licence required.

The hourly rate of pay is Β£15.25 per hour.
