We are looking for passionate and experienced psychotherapists to join our dedicated team and support individuals on their journey to overcoming addiction and rebuilding their lives. You’ll work in a compassionate and clinically robust setting alongside doctors, therapists, and support staff within a service that’s been a leader in residential addiction treatment for over 35 years. What You’ll Be Doing In this role, you’ll be a core part of our therapeutic team, supporting patients through some of the most significant moments of their recovery journey. From the very beginning of the patient journey, you’ll carry out detailed biopsychosocial assessments to help shape individualised treatment plans tailored to each person’s needs. You’ll deliver therapy across a range of formats, including one-to-one sessions, group work, and family therapy, in a setting where compassion, safety, and trust are central to the healing process for patients and families. Your week may also include supporting our continuing care teletherapy programme, as well as taking part in our weekend therapy rota. At Castle Craig, we believe in continual learning and professional development. You’ll be encouraged to keep up to date with emerging research and best practices in psychotherapy, and you’ll have regular opportunities to reflect on your work through supervision and clinical training. Here’s What We’re Looking For You’ll be a dedicated therapist with a recognised qualification in Psychology, Counselling, Social Work or a related field, and registration or accreditation with a recognised professional body (e.g., Significant experience delivering psychotherapy or counselling in a clinical setting A strong sense of ethics and understanding of mental health legislation A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development For Level 3 Therapists Supervision and training provided toward full accreditation For Level 4 Specialist Therapists Here’s What We Offer We know that looking after our staff helps us deliver the best care for our patients.
