We are urgently seeking a Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join us at our facility at Kyle of Lochalsh, Scotland. Castle Air has a 40 year heritage in the rotary field and is already well known for maintaining aircraft. Applicants will be asked to provide proof of recency and must be able to demonstrate the right to work in the UK.

Successful applicants will have a UK CAA Part 66 License type ratings on H145.

  • Carry out both line and base maintenance at any of the Castle Air facilities, and also off-site upon customer demand.
  • Undertake all tasks related to aircraft maintenance.
  • Ensure the highest quality and standards of work are completed in relation to aircraft, components and documentation.
  • Ensure facilities, equipment and premises are maintained to an acceptable standard.
  • Ensuring operational crew members are debriefed to ensure defects are accurately defined and recorded.
  • Analyse and interpret technical aircraft information.
  • Work with other Castle Air Departments to ensure smooth operation of the business.
  • Manage any stocks of consumables and parts that are on site in line with company procedures.
  • Aircraft Towing/moving.

Person Specification:

  • Relevant experience and time on helicopters, time on the H145 is essential.
