Experienced specifically in the Design, and development & manufacture of Ceramic core dies, Wax pattern dies Mould tools and associated tooling fixtures for the investment Casting Industries Aerospace and IGT sectors
Role
- Experienced in Producing 3D CADad models using Solidworks (other formats considered), detailed engineering manufacturing drawings and technical presentations.
- Generating bills of material & technical procurement
- Creating and managing change requests where required
- Active involvement with Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Active participation in internal and external face to face liaison and electronic meetings
- Active participation in the development of tooling quotations packages.
Experience:
- Ideally, at least 5 years experience a proven industry experience in the subject role or a similar design role ideally 3-5 years experience on a range of Ceramic Core dies Wax pattern dies and associated tooling.in mould tool design
- Educated to HNC/Degree level in a suitable technical subject or a Time served apprentice preferably in the toolmaking industry
- Proven track record of delivering effective engineering solutions within cost ,time and quality requirements.
Requisites
- Highly motivated, Pro-active, Self-starter
- 3D CAD experience such as solid works is essentialin Solidworks
- Able to work as an individual or part of a team to tight deadline targets
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem- solving skillsattention to detail and accuracy
- Good IT literacy with MS office skills
