Castell Howell Foods is Wales’ leading independent food service wholesaler, servicing the length and breadth of Wales, the Border Counties and the South West of England. We currently have vacancies for Nights Warehouse Operatives based at our Cross Hands depot.

Our Nights Warehouse Operatives are responsible for the accurate and timely picking and packing of customer orders using our voice picking system. Duties include:
- Picking of goods from despatch according to picking procedures and KPIs
- Administration of picking documents as appropriate
- Ensuring all routes are picked correctly and efficiently in line with the company load planner
- Ensuring products picked are of saleable quality in accordance with company policy, Health and Safety and quality
- Ensuring the correct labelling of all orders for despatch
- Compliance with Health and Safety and Hygiene legislation
Don’t worry if you are new to the field as full training will be provided but you should be:
- A team player who can also work independently
- Someone who shows attention to detail
- Consider yourself physically fit
- Have basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Be prepared to work in a cold store at -18 °C (full protective equipment is provided)
You will be required to work 36 hours per week, 4 shifts to include a Sunday and Friday from 18:30 to 04:30.

- A competitive salary of £31,005.00 plus monthly bonus scheme
- 20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays (pro rata). You will be expected to work some Bank Holidays paid at an enhanced rate.
