Role Description
The Upholstery Technician role is a full-time and remote position. The technician will be responsible for repairing and restoring upholstered furniture, conducting inspections, and managing claims-related repairs. Daily tasks include assessing damage, consulting with customers, and ensuring high-quality craftsmanship in all repairs. The technician will also maintain detailed records for claims and communicate effectively with the customer service team to provide an excellent customer experience.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Upholstery Repair, Furniture Restoration, and Craftsmanship
- Experience conducting inspections and assessing damaged furniture
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency in maintaining detailed documentation and claim records
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Prior experience in warranty, insurance, or furniture repair industries is an advantage
- Relevant certifications or training in upholstery or furniture repair are beneficial
