The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Castara Law undertakes a large volume of work from a legal expense insurer and require a Solicitor and para legal to undertake this work. The principle type of work is Landlord and Tenant including property recovery and property disputes. There will be opportunities to undertake other contentious type of work in particular regulatory disciplinary work as we are retained by an optical institution and undertake work throughout the UK.
The firm is seeking to grow and expand significantly and with that growth there will be strong opportunities for the successful candidates.
1. Solicitor.
Preferably 4 years qualification, property litigation primarily Landlord and Tenant. Salary Market Rate. Start date as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will require the following skill sets.
1.Solid experience in property litigation and in particular Landlord and Tenant Work.
2.The ability to maintain existing relations with the firm’s clients and assist with developing new relationships with third party members
3.A willingness to participate in the growth and future development of these areas of work within the department and to assist in building up the client base
4.The ability to work independently although with in a wider department should essentially be able to hit the ground running with matters.
5.Excellent client facing skills
6.The ability to prioritise work and work to strict timescales where required
7.Technical proficiency and good IT Skills
8.A strong academic background
9.Previous experience within a litigation team
10.A solid understanding of court procedures and civil litigation processes
11.Strong drafting and research skills with a keen eye for detail
