An ambitious, fast-growing logistics business is on the lookout for a hands-on Sortation Centre Manager to take full operational ownership of a brand-new site in Nottingham. This is your opportunity to shape, lead and grow a key part of the network at an exciting stage of expansion.
With significant backing and bold growth plans, this business is scaling its operations across the UK, opening multiple new sites over the coming years. You\’ll play a pivotal role in building this new operation from the ground up-establishing processes, creating a high-performing team, and embedding a strong, values-led culture from day one.
What You\’ll Be Doing:
Full operational leadership of the Nottingham Sort Centre
Embedding consistent, effective processes and operational standards
Building and developing a motivated, high-performing team
Driving performance across safety, productivity, cost, and service
Collaborating with central teams across engineering, planning, and operations
Contributing to the future design of operations, including automation and advanced tech integration
What We\’re Looking For:
Strong leadership experience within warehouse, logistics, or sortation operations
Proven ability to implement and drive operational processes at pace
Highly disciplined, hands-on approach with excellent task execution
Technical aptitude to engage with operational technology and automation
Track record of delivering in high-volume, fast-paced environments
