Warehouse Manager Motherwell £35,000 – £39,000 + Benefits A leading supplier within the distribution industry is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee operations at their busy Motherwell site. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and growing business that values quality, professionalism, and continuous improvement. The Role: As Warehouse Manager, you\’ll take full ownership of day-to-day warehouse operations-ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate handling of goods from receipt to dispatch. You\’ll lead a team of around 10 direct reports, maintain high levels of customer service, and implement processes that drive operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and stock control Manage and motivate the warehouse team to achieve KPIs Ensure health & safety compliance and fleet operations meet legal standards Drive continuous improvement across processes and customer service Provide regular reports and support budget control Plan rotas, conduct training, and appraise performance Liaise with other departments to support cross-functional success What We\’re Looking For: Minimum 2 years in a similar warehouse leadership role Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, safety standards, and inventory management Confident using warehouse systems and Microsoft Office Proven leadership, coaching, and team development skills Clean driving licence required (occasional travel to other sites) Desirable (not essential): Experience with WMS/ERP systems (e.g. Kerridge) Logistics and transport planning knowledge Forklift licence (Counterbalance & Reach) What\’s On Offer: Competitive salary of £35,000 – £39,000 4-day flexible working week (36 hours) Health/cash plan, life assurance & employee discount Free on-site parking A values-driven, supportive environment with room to grow
